Ciudad Quesada is located approximately 8 kilometres inland from Guardamar de la Segura which has some of the best beaches on the Costa Blanca. The town of Ciudad Quesada has a high street with shops, bars, restaurants and there is also water park and golf course.

Ciudad Quesada is also near to the salt lake were there are an abundance of flamingos and other wildlife, the area is considered to have a very healthy climate.

For a day or evening out, Torrevieja is close by.  Torrevieja has lots of shops, bars and restaurant, a new shopping complex.  For night time there is a Casino and  more than a hundred bars, the majority concentrated in the so-called El Baluarte area in the La Punta district, which is now  a major attraction for thousands of people from all over the world.
